Frequently Asked Questions

  • The Center DOES NOT follows the Craven County School Systems for emergency or weather related closings. Please see Facebook for weather cancellations. We do our best to hold classes if at all possible. 

    *The Center is open on teacher workdays.

  • Students are not permitted cell phones in class or rehearsals. It is preferable that their phones are left with parents or are turned off and stowed in their dance bags.

  • In the event of inclement weather and The Center closing, private lessons will be rescheduled. Group lessons will not.

  • Tuition is due by the 7th of the month. A late fee of $10 will be applied on the 11th of the month.

    Tuition statements will be emailed to our patrons' current email on file. Statements will arrive by the 25th of the previous month.

    Registration fees, tuition, dance wear orders, recital and costumes fees are non-returnable or transferable.

    Tuition is based on a 9.5 month calendar. (Two semesters; Fall and Spring) Tuition is a monthly payment and remains consistent throughout the season.

    All returned checks will be charged a return check fee of $30 per check. If we receive two returned checks during the season, cash payments will be required for further charges.

  • We strive to give our full attention and class time to our students. If you need to schedule a conference or have any questions please email or call the Center and I will get back to you within 24 hours.

  • *Please arrive promptly before your scheduled class. Please park and bring your child to the studio and stay with them until their class has commenced.

    *Students and siblings are not permitted at the studio unattended. Parents must be with them at all times. (Parents/siblings/family members are permitted to leave once their child is in their class.)

    *If a student is unable to attend their lesson, make up classes or credits to your account are NOT provided. If a teacher is absent, the class/lesson will be rescheduled or your account will be credited for the missed lesson.

    *Parking: Please be respectful of other patrons. Do not drop off students in the fire lane. Use marked parking spaces only. When dropping off students Drama & Music, do not block thruway.

    *Please do not drop off students more than 5 minutes before their scheduled lesson. Students younger than 10 must have a parent with them until class begins.

    *Music students receive a weekly 30 minute private lesson scheduled on availability. Lesson times are secure for the entire season.

    *The Center will make every effort to contact you in advance of any schedule changes.

    *Parents may observe classes through the front windows. This help minimize distractions.

  • Yes. A $35 fee will be applied to any returned checks.
